We’re looking for an organized, service-oriented team member who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a front-facing role. This position blends customer service in our Identification Services area with traditional reception duties, starting with a focus on fingerprinting services and evolving to include reception coverage and office support.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients and visitors, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while delivering essential regulatory services. We’ll provide full training to support your success and confidence in both areas of responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Service Responsibilities (initial focus):
· Deliver fingerprinting and identification services using Live Scan technology
· Support customers in obtaining police clearances, record suspensions, and related services
· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with every interaction
· Learn and assist with additional services, including US travel waivers and process serving
· Document transactions accurately and maintain secure client records
Reception Responsibilities (gradually increasing):
· Greet and sign in visitors professionally and courteously
· Answer and direct incoming calls, triage inquiries, and relay accurate messages
· Support internal communications and liaise with team members to keep operations smooth
What You Bring
· Proven customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
· Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools and systems
· Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
· Attention to detail and an ability to manage time and priorities effectively
· Experience in a front-desk or receptionist role is an asset but not required
· Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
· Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Level II (SECRET) clearance
· Valid BC driver’s license preferred
· Additional languages considered an asset
