Board Member

The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires (CVIY) is seeking volunteer board members based in Vancouver Island or the Yukon for our Board of Governors.

The Commissionaires is a great way to support those who served our Country. Our social mandate is to provide meaningful employment that meets the needs of veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, their families and others who wish to contribute to the security and well-being of Canadians.

We are seeking your expertise as we provide service to current and prospective clients in the security industry on both Vancouver Island and in the Yukon.
 

There are currently positions available and we are seeking experts from various backgrounds not limited to:
 

· Accounting and business financial management

· Legal services

· Digital transformation

· Business development

· Security Industry

· Human Resource Management

· Public relations

· Marketing

· IT
 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

· 10+ years in leadership roles; Military, Policing or Private Sector

· Relevant university degree or equivalent

· Experience in strategic planning, finance, digital transformation, and business development

· Respect for Veterans and a passion to make a positive contribution

· Yukon or Vancouver Island based
