Position Title: Customer Service Consultant – Identification Services
Location: Commissionaires – Divisional Office – Victoria, BC
Wage: $22.00/hour plus RSP
Section: ID Services
Hours: 0800 to 1600,
as needed, including Saturdays - excluding Stats (May be required to work outside these hours from time to time)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Engaging, welcoming and professional approach to customers
  • Efficient delivery of all identification service offerings including; police clearances, fingerprinting, public works clearances, pardons and future new offerings.
  • Liaises with various institutions and organizations relating to clearances and fingerprinting.
  • Ensures the security, privacy and confidentiality of documents.
  • Prepare documentation for invoicing and files
  • Accurate care with related financial transactions
  • Collaborates with ID services team and others at CVIY to provide an excellent customer service experience
  • Brings ideas forward to help with continuous improvements and building business
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for the customer experience
  • A “can-do” attitude
  • Respect for the criminal justice system and related requirements
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Will learn programs such as CPIC and Live Scan
  • Valid BC Drivers license considered an asset  
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Eligible to obtain a Public Works Reliability Clearance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attentive to details and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Pass a criminal record check
  • Proficiency in other languages considered an asset
